Believe it or not, a workout will actually probably make you feel a million times better BUT I’m not going to force you to do something you don’t want to do. Mainly because it’s not physically possible given I don’t know who or where you are. But also because it’s something that you’ll learn for yourself in time.
What I am going to do though, is give you an alternative. A very low impact, very short, very ACHIEVABLE little workout that you can do anywhere, anytime – just whenever you think of it. I’ve deliberately designed it with no jumping or high intensity movements (so you don’t even need to be in a sports bra!) and no floor movements (so you don’t have to worry about the hygiene situation in the work stationary closet) AND it’ll take you about five minutes (so your excuses are not welcome here).
Here’s the theory:
Five minutes is psychologically very achievable.
Five minutes is better than no minutes
You do this workout 4-6 times today – just whenever you think of it (maybe once while your oats are cooking, once while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil, once at lunch… etc)
The end of Monday comes.
You’ve done a 30-minute workout.
You are a winner.
Happy Monday Team
