Oh my god this cold weather is KILLING ME. Over the weekend I finally (begrudgingly) acknowledged the fact that summer is over with a little winter-centric shopping spree… given my wardrobe up until now has pretty much consisted of singlets and shorts this was not so much an indulgence as a necessity though, and I can now say with a little more confidence that I think I’ll survive ’til spring.
The cold weather also brings with it one other minor problem beside my wardrobe issue – noone wants to leave the house. Now while I do firmly discourage actual hibernation, I’m down with the idea that you may want to mix up your workout routine to include one or two more home sessions. Indoor sessions obviously pose their own little set of issues (namely lack of equipment and space), so I’ve put together this bodyweight workout that needs no more than a yoga mat and a good attitude. It’s pretty high intensity, so you’re welcome to adapt as you see fit, but the aim is to get through the whole session as speedily as possible (while keeping good form). Record your time and then try to beat it next week!
