The Lululemon Run Collective Seminar Series Hits Sydney

There are less than six weeks left until the City2Surf, aka the mostly hotly anticipated event on my sporting calendar. I’ve been running it since my second year at uni (which was longer ago than I care to remember) and I honestly do look forward to it more than is probably normal.

This year I’m particularly excited because Lululemon is hosting a series of FREE seminars in the lead-up to the event. The Run Collective seminar series features some of Sydney’s top trainers and running experts, and is designed to help you get the most out of your race. From injury avoidance to biomechanics, nutrition and mindful performance, the Lululemon Run Collective has you covered.

There are still two events left, check out the details below and make 2015 your year to PB.

RUNNING SAFE with Rachel Stanley, Physiotherapist and Yoga Teacher @ Corporate Physio

Where: The Ivy store
When: 7pm Tuesday 14th July 2015

What you’ll learn:
– Biomechanics for optimal running (improve efficiency and speed)
– Common injuries while running, how to treat and prevent those injuries
– How specific yoga poses can improve efficiency and speed in running

MINDFUL PERFORMANCE with Benjamin Lucas, Owner and Personal Training @ Flow Athletic, Paddington

Where: Flow Athletic, Oxford St. Paddington
When: 7pm Wednesday 29th July

Modeling and visualisation
Megnet Technique
– Mindful Running
– Chunking Technique
– Breathing and centring
– Positive self-talk
