Salmon_ShopNaturally

A couple of weeks back I was asked to put together a recipe for the team over at Shop Naturally. They have a beautiful website and an ethos that we can all aspire to, so of course I was going to say yes. Now, anyone that knows me knows that if I put together a recipe for you there are a couple of things you can be sure of. For starters, it’s going to be pretty simple. And secondly, it’s going to be pretty simple….

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, but I have a bit of a sweet tooth. Oh wait, yep. I have. Here, here and again over here. Turns out I’ve mentioned it pretty regularly over the past 18 months or so. Ahem….

Them feels.

Them feels.

As you are probably aware by now, I haven’t always had a particularly balanced relationship with food. In fact, for a number of years throughout my late teens and early 20s you could go so far as to say it was decidedly fucked up. You know, if you were into dropping the f-bomb at random (which I am).

PBballs2

Oh peanut butter. My love for you is strong. So strong in fact, that we had to stop seeing each for a little while. It was difficult. I cried myself to sleep every night, but if anything I think it just made me appreciate you – and the good times we had – even more.

3pm – AKA The Danger Zone. The time of day most likely to have us reaching for chocolate or biscuits or (oh dear) biscuits coated in chocolate. Of course the issue is that by the time we hit The Danger Zone it’s not just hunger that we’re contending with. It’s also boredom and dipping sugar levels. It’s an energy slump. My Top 5 Tips for Getting Through the Silly Season Unscathed

November 13, 2013 By LazyGirlFitness 3 Comments

I LOVE Christmas. Each year I try to keep my excitement in check until around mid-November (I don’t want to risk peaking too early) but in all honesty there is nothing more exciting to me than Santa and his wonderful world of elves, reindeer and presents (yay!).

Lazy Girl Eats – Sanduba

August 15, 2013 By LazyGirlFitness 5 Comments

Attempting to find a place that serves a satisfying, nutritious lunch in the Sydney CBD is a bit like trying to find an Australian sports team that’s not losing to the Poms at the moment – they’re few and far between. So when I stumbled across Sanduba on George Street recently, I knew that the only fair thing to do was spread the word as far and wide as possible.

June 23, 2013 By LazyGirlFitness Leave a Comment

sundayconfession
