If you ask me, lovely legs are strong legs. You know, legs that can carry stuff. And kick stuff. And squat stuff. And leap tall buildings in a single bound. Or at least carry you up the stairs in said tall building without needing to call an ambulance.
Lovely strong legs don’t just happen though. You gotta work for them ladies! And here are a couple of workouts that will help get you there.
Lovely Legs 1 – no equipment
[Intensity: Medium – High]
15 lunge jumps (per leg)
15 deep bodyweight squats
15 1-leg bridge (per leg)
60-sec high knees
15 side lunge (per leg)
15 squat kicks (per leg)
60-sec high knees
(repeat 3-4 times)
Lovely Legs 2 – at gym; access to equipment
[
Intensity: High]
12 kettlebell swings
12 weighted deep squats
12 box jumps
12 weighted step ups with high knee 500m treadmill sprint
(30-minute AMRAP – as many rounds as possible)
