Pick who’s had the most alcoholic beverages (spoiler alert: it’s me)

God I love weekends. Don’t get me wrong, the working week is fine too, but W-E-E-K-E-N-D-S. I’ve had my bro and sister-in-law in town since Friday, so this has been an extra special one. Lots of eating, swimming, walking, drinking, shopping and relaxing. Just the way a weekend should be, in my humble opinion. Oh and Messina, did I mention Messina? Because there was definitely some Messina.

But now the weekend is coming to a close, and with it comes the end of my rest week. I’m looking forward to getting back into the gym tomorrow, and hoping that this week off has done some good stuff for my body. I went to the physio last week and I believe his exact words were ‘what the hell have you been doing to yourself?’ which is not exactly what you want to hear, but also not that surprising given the last few months of my life.

But enough about me, you’re here for the workout.

17-minute leg burner

This is a pretty simple one I put together, packed full of big calorie-burning exercises that are going to strengthen and shape your legs and butt – because let’s face it, who doesn’t want a nice, strong butt? That’s right, noone. It’s a sweet little 17-minute number that needs no equipment, so you can squeeze it in before work, at lunch or even before bed. Just make sure you go hard – these shorter workouts are only effective if you really push your limits.

Have a crack this week and let me know what you think.

Much love Team.

I find working out on the weekends is my biggest challenge! Getting my butt to the gym is just sooooo hard – I just feel I’m “entitled” to these two days of gymlessness!! So wrong, but so true.

hahaha I know – I used to feel exactly the same. Now I try to get my workout done first thing on a Saturday morning, and usually I’ll do it down by the beach with a friend so at least I’ve got an amazing view and even better company. And I try to have it done by 9am, so I feel accomplished before the day has even really started!
