In case you missed the extreme happiness over on Instagram about a month ago, I got engaged to the actual best human on the face of the earth. I know what you’re thinking; how lucky am I to have even MET the actual best human on earth, let alone to have convinced him to marry me?! Anyway, in order to lock him down before he changes his mind, we’re getting married this year. Well, to be specific… once this year in Sydney, and again next year in India (I’m locking him down twice guys; better safe than sorry).
I think the key take out here is that I’m getting married very very soon.
Anyway, I’m not about to embark on some crazy #weddingshredding journey because a) eeew and b) any time I tell myself I must do something/not eat something I go into some sort of self-sabotaging hell and the most likely result would be me on my wedding day unable to fit into my dress, even with three pairs of Spanx.
Yes, moderation is the key for me, which is why I’ll be keeping my regular routine (which is currently heavily skewed towards Pilates), adding in a weekly run and ensuring I get one really good HIIT session in each week. Here’s one that I’ll be calling on as my main wedding workout doing in the lead-up to the big day. It’s 35 minutes of , but hey, if you’re looking for a wedding workout, it’s a good ‘un.
