I love porridge. I have it almost every day for breakfast. And by ‘almost’ I mean that if I’m eating breakfast at home, chances are I’m eating porridge. Sometimes for dinner too, if we’re being really honest here. But it’s not like I don’t know how to make other things, I just get a little stuck in my ways. OK I’ll admit, today’s breakfast ideas post is probably more for me than for you. But whatever, let’s just hope everyone’s a winner….
Looking back on an eating disorder – my story
I’ve sat down to write this blog post many, many times over the past few years. I’m not sure why I think that now is the right time… but here we are.
What you probably know about me is that I am genuinely passionate about making fitness and good health accessible to everyone, everywhere and that I truly believe in living a fit, healthy and balanced life, rather than one focused on achieving a particular type of physique. But what you probably don’t know, is why. Well today you’re getting the back story, so strap yourself in.…
Full body wedding workout
In case you missed the extreme happiness over on Instagram about a month ago, I got engaged to the actual best human on the face of the earth. I know what you’re thinking; how lucky am I to have even MET the actual best human on earth, let alone to have convinced him to marry me?! Anyway, in order to lock him down before he changes his mind, we’re getting married this year. Well, to be specific… once this year in Sydney, and again next year in India (I’m locking him down twice guys; better safe than sorry)….
New Balance – the best of their new collection
Has anyone else noticed that New Balance is kicking some serious style goals recently? I started getting back into their gear – both shoes and activewear – about 18 months ago, and I actually think they might be getting better each season. In fact, my New Balance Foam Zante are by far (like, I’m talking a ratio of 20:1) the most worn shoe in my athletic shoe wardrobe… and I have a lot of shoes in that particular wardrobe….

Review of SKINS K-Proprium Tights
I’ve been a fan of SKINS compression gear for longer than I care to remember, mainly because thinking about it reminds me of exactly how old I am these days. Since my very first pair, I’ve loved what the brand stands for. From championing LGBTI rights in sport in Australia, to highlighting the corruption of FIFA to increasing funding for anti-doping (including education at a grassroots level), SKINS is a brand that truly lives their vision – a world in which sport inspires society.…

28-Day Abs Challenge
Two years ago I put together the first of my online fitness challenges. It was called the 28-Day Abs Challenge, and to this day it remains one of the most popular things on the LGF website. The only thing is that it’s now a little… clunky. It ran over four weeks, as six separate posts and, well, it’s just not exactly the most user-friendly thing out there. And what does that mean? Well Team, it’s just had a makeover….

6 Active Date Ideas
When I first started seeing Karn, one of my favourite things was the adventure dates he would plan for us. It was such a nice change from the old meal or drinks-related date ideas (although we’ve had a lot of those too!) and a really great way to get to know each other outside of the ‘usual’ date situations. It was also an excellent way to test whether he was brave enough to tackle my overly-competitive nature. [side note: thankfully he was.]…
